What is the Assignment Library?
The Assignment Library is your central hub for accessing all of NoRedInk's writing and grammar curricula! It's designed to help you efficiently find and implement content that aligns with your teaching objectives and district priorities.
In the Assignment Library, you can:
- Browse: Explore our catalog of writing and grammar content organized by skill areas, grade levels, and learning objectives.
- Preview: Review any assignment before assigning it to see exactly what your students will experience, allowing you to ensure it matches your instructional goals.
- Create and Assign: Quickly set up assignments for your classes, customize settings, and schedule due dates all in one place.
To access the Assignment Library, teachers will select Browse & Assign at the top of the teacher dashboard.

Practice

Writing
NoRedInk offers 5 different writing assignment types that teachers can use to strengthen students' writing skills! Teachers can select the activity they want to use and start building their assignments by selecting pre-made prompts and writing genres.
Quick Write
Quick Writes offer students an opportunity to respond to prompts with immediate, focused writing practice. Quick Writes can include optional source materials and customizable rubric items to match your current instructional goals. Guided Essay and Guided Short Response
Our Guided Writing assignments provide a structured framework that supports students through the writing process with embedded resources. These assignments allow students to draft either complete essays or focused paragraphs while receiving guidance along the way through tutorials, model essays, and targeted tips. Peer Review
Peer Reviews create a collaborative learning environment where students submit portions of their essays to receive structured, anonymous feedback from classmates. State Standards and Test Alignment
