Now that you’ve created your classes, it’s time to add your students so they can begin working on their assignments! Depending on how you are rostering classes in NoRedInk, there are several ways to add students. Take a look at each section to learn more about the resources available to help you roster your students!
Manually-created NoRedInk classes
If you’ve manually created classes in NoRedInk on the Manage Classes page, there are three ways that you can add students to your classes: You can share a class code, an invite link, or manually create student accounts on their behalf.
Check out the following resources to learn how to add students with one of these options!
💡 We only recommend adding students manually if students cannot sign up for NoRedInk on their own and if they do not already have a NoRedInk account.
Integration-synced classes
When rostering classes through an integration, such as Clever or Schoology, NoRedInk pulls your class data directly from that integration. This means that class codes and invite links are not generated for these classes. Students will either need to create new NoRedInk accounts or log into existing accounts and connect them to that integration to join the class.
The steps your students take to join your classes in NoRedInk are dependent on the type of integration you are using to roster. Check out the resources below to learn how to add students with one of our integrations!

❗ Because the roster is tied directly to the integration, students cannot be manually added to integration-synced classes.
