Whether you are a new student using NoRedInk or you've used this site before, this guide will provide the resources you'll need to learn how to create your account and find your assignments!
Step 1: Join your class
oin your class in NoRedInk. You can check out the following articles to learn how you can join your classes depending on how your teacher decides to set them up!
❗ If your teacher did not provide you with instructions for how join their NoRedInk class, be sure to check with them first to make sure you sign up correctly.
Step 2: Select your interests
These characters and names will be used in the practice questions you see on NoRedInk. Check out this article to learn more about choosing your interests!
Step 3: Find your assignments
You will see your assignments listed on your home page each time you log in. Assignments will be listed in order based on their due date, which is listed below the assignment’s name. The assignment that's due soonest will appear at the top of the list in blue. To begin your assignment, or to pick up where you left off, select the assignment.
💡 Enrolled in multiple NoRedInk classes? By default, you’ll see the assignments across all your classes. You can filter your assignments by class using the dropdown menu.
If you have any assignments that are past due or still accepting late work, you will see them listed under Late Assignments.

Step 4: View your grades
Once you’ve completed your assignments, you can always check on your grades to see how you've been doing throughout the school year! You can use the Past Work page to view your progress and writing assignments you've drafted.
