When you first sign up for NoRedInk, you'll be directed to a page where you have to select shows, movies, and/or people you're interested in before you can see your assignments. The interests you choose will be shown in the sentences you work with in NoRedInk, so be sure to pick things you care about or that will make you laugh while you work!
You'll need to select enough interests to fill the green bar completely. It's important to note that adding names to the "Friends" and "Pets" sections does not fill up the progress bar. Once the bar is filled, you'll be able to begin working on your assignments.
💡 If you're having trouble filling the bar, try selecting things like TV shows or movies since those interests include many characters, whereas selecting individual people only counts each selection as a single person.
