⚠️ Important: If your teacher uses Canvas, you will not receive a class code.
❗ You should always open your NoRedInk assignments directly through Canvas.
Sign up with Canvas
If this is your first time using NoRedInk and you're accessing the platform through Canvas, follow these steps to join your class! These instructions will help you get connected quickly and start working on your assignments.
- Log in to your school or district's Canvas Portal.
- In the Navigation menu in Canvas, select "Course" and select a specific course or "All Courses."
- Select the "Assignments" link to view all your assignments.
- Select the assignment your teacher would like you to work on.
- When you select the assignment, you'll be prompted to select Sign up as a student.
- Select the method you will use to sign up for an account
- You'll then be directed to select your interests and complete your account creation.
Since this is the first time being assigned a NoRedInk assignment by your teacher, opening your first assignment will automatically enroll you in your teacher's NoRedInk class once your account has been created.
Log in with Canvas
If you've used NoRedInk before and your teacher wants you to access the platform through Canvas, you'll need to ensure that your NoRedInk account and Canvas accounts are connected to join your class.
- Log in to your school or district's Canvas Portal
- In the Navigation menu in Canvas, select "Course" and select a specific course or "All Courses."
- Select the "Assignments" link to view all your assignments.
- Select the assignment your teacher would like you to work on.
If you are already logged in to your NoRedInk account, you will see a welcome screen in Canvas that looks like the image below. To proceed with connecting your account with Canvas, select the "Yes, use this account" button.
If you are not yet logged in to your NoRedInk account, you will be able to log in directly from Canvas after opening your class assignment. You'll select the login option that you used when you first signed up for NoRedInk on the Log In page.
