Now that your students have submitted their Grading Assistant-linked writing assignment, it's time to view and grade their submissions! Let's take a look at how you can grade your students' submissions. To view and grade your students’ submissions on a Grading Assistant-linked assignment, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to the My Assignments
- Next to the assignment, select the View Writing icon.
- Upon student submission, the Grading Assistant will begin analyzing and grading the responses. As the Grading Assistant is analyzing students' work, their names will be listed in the Grading in Progress section of the assignment's results page.
️📖 Occasionally, grading may take longer than a few minutes due to high demand. Please check back later if a student’s submission is in the process of being graded by Grading Assistant.
- Once the Grading Assistant has finished providing feedback, the students will be moved to the Ready for Grading section.
- Select Grade next to a student's submission to begin the teacher review of their writing.
- You'll see the student's writing on the left and the Grading Assistant's comments, and pre-set grades on the right side of the page.
- While looking over the suggested scores and feedback for the student, you can modify the feedback to your liking!
- Once you're done with grading, you can select Post grades and comments and then Return to Student to share the final grade and results with the student. This will close the assignment for the student, and they will be unable to make any changes.
