If a student's Quick Write or Guided Draft submission needs a bit more work while you're grading, you can always send the draft back to the student for additional revision. This will re-open the assignment and allow them to continue making edits.
To return a writing draft for revision, you can simply select the "Send back for revisions" option and then "Return to Student."
The student will be able to view the score and/or comments you provide. One thing to note is thatÂ
âť— Submissions that are sent back for revision are still subject to the original due date and late submission policy. You can update the due date by editing the assignment!Â
Reviewing version history
After a student has submitted a revision of their work, you can view both the new and previous versions of their essay submissions. This makes it easy to track changes across drafts during multiple rounds of revision.Â
While viewing a student's submission, you can toggle between versions by selecting the "Select draft" dropdown menu in the top left corner of the screen. You will also be able to view previous grades and comments associated with that version.
Once you've finished reviewing student work, you can choose to post a grade or request an additional revision. If you request another revision, you'll continue to see student draft versions listed in the dropdown shown above.Â
