When you delete an assignment in NoRedInk, it removes the assignment from several places: your teacher dashboard, your gradebook, all of your students' dashboards, and their Past Work pages. This does not permanently delete the assignment or data from your account and can be recovered at any time!
To delete an assignment, you can follow these steps:
- First, go to the My Assignments page.
- Select the ellipsis button to the right of the assignment title.
- Select Delete assignmentΒ in the dropdown menu.
One thing to note: If you created an assignment and applied it to multiple classes, you'll need to delete the assignment for each class in which you no longer want it to appear.Β
π‘ Change your mind? You can restore a deleted assignment and its scores by following the instructions in this article!
Helpful tips:
- If you'd like to keep the assignment's data and just make it so the assignment is no longer accepting student work, you can edit the assignment to either change the due date or stop accepting late work. Check out this article to learn how to edit an assignment!
- Currently, there is no way to remove topics or the number of questions on an existing assignment. We recommend making a copy of the existing assignment, making the adjustments, and then deleting the original using the instructions above.
