The way NoRedInk scores your work depends on the type of assignment your teacher has given you!
Diagnostics determine your starting knowledge level. The goal is to simply complete the diagnostic so your teacher can understand what you already know. You will receive a grade based on completing the diagnostic. Otherwise, these are not graded and won't affect your overall grades.
Practice assignments are designed to develop your current skills. You can correct mistakes as you work through the assignment and view hints and lessons whenever needed. You won’t see a traditional “score”. Instead, you will see how far along you are to mastery. Progress through four proficiency levels to reach mastery.
Quizzes are for finding out your current knowledge, often after working through Practice assignments. Your score is determined by your first answer to each question. After completing the quiz, you'll have the opportunity to review and correct any errors, helping you improve for future assignments.
