If a student can't remember their chosen NoRedInk password, you can always reset it for them on your Manage Classes page!
To reset a student's password, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to your Manage Classes page on your dashboard.
- Locate the student who needs a password reset in your class list.
- Select the gear icon next to the student to open the Actions menu.
- In the Actions menu, select Reset password.
- A window will appear where you can either reset the password to the default class code or choose a custom password. By default, passwords will reset to the class code with the spaces included.
- Once you've finished, select Reset password at the bottom of the window to save the new password.
💡 Once students log back in successfully, we recommend that they choose a new password by updating it in their Account Settings. They will need to follow our password security requirements when updating their password.
