If you decide to unarchive a class from a previous school year, there are several things to keep in mind! Once the class is unarchived:
- The class will become active again on both your homepage and the homepages of the students who were rostered to that class. This can confuse students if they are rostered in another class of yours!
- Any assignments in that class that allowed late submissions will become available for those students
- All assignment data, except for student mastery, will be available in the grade book again
Each summer, we automatically archive classes and reset student mastery. Unarchiving a class does not restore student mastery data reset over the summer. To learn more about mastery reset and automatic archiving, please visit:
