Once students have completed reviewing and revising their Peer Reviews, their submissions will be available for you to review through the My Assignments page.
To view and grade your students’ submissions on a Peer Review, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to the My Assignments page.
- Next to the assignment, select the View Writing icon.
- On the next page, you'll be presented with the Progress tab, which allows you to view your students' progress in real-time.
The Progress tab will display the following information about your students' progress:
- What stage each student is at in the Peer Review.
- Class trends and details about flagged or starred comments.
- Select a student's name to view their writing, or to use the option to skip students forward to the next step if they are stuck for a long time waiting for more ratings.
- Select the Submissions & Grades tab to begin grading submissions.
On the Submissions & Grades tab, you can view students' submissions as they are working. While you can't grade writing until it has been submitted, you can comment on the student's original draft while they are revising.
While grading, you'll be able to review the student's efforts in the revision process by comparing drafts and viewing goals, ratings, and comments received and given.
💡 If you need to edit the assignment's grading rubric, you can select the pencil icon next to the rubric to do so!
- Select Save Grade when you're ready to post your comments and the student's final grade.
- If you believe the work needs more revision, select Request Revision. This will send the assignment back to the student for an additional round of revision.
- Once you're done reviewing student submissions, return to your Submissions & Grades tab to post the queued grades and requests for additional revision.
Students with final grades will be able to see their grades posted on their Past Work page. Students with additional revision requests will see the assignment appear on their home page with a "Revise" banner.
❗ After you post grades, you will be unable to edit the rubric for this assignment. If you would like to make changes to the rubric, do so before posting grades to your students.
