Your admin can now create Writing Benchmarks powered with our Grading Assistant AI! By incorporating our Grading Assistant, you can grade student writing more efficiently, saving valuable time in class. Let's take a look at how to assign this Benchmark to your class!
To assign a Grading Assistant-Powered Writing Benchmark, you can follow these steps:
When your admin has created a Benchmark, you'll see an "Assign Writing Benchmark" banner at the top of your Dashboard and on the first page of your Assignment Library.
- Select the blue "Assign now" button.
- The following page will show the name of the Benchmark, the estimated time it should take students to complete it, the grade level, and the due date. Select the blue "Assign" button.
- On the next page, you'll be able to view the assignment details, such as the writing prompt and rubric criteria that the AI Assistant will be grading your students on. Because this was created by your admin, you are not able to customize the assignment.
- Select "Continue" at the bottom of the page.
- On the final page, you'll select which classes and students will receive the Benchmark, the start/due date, and the due time.
- Select "Assign."
❗ If you are unable to view the banner, please ensure that you have the correct grade levels assigned to your classes. You can check your grade levels on your Manage Classes page.
