How to Add a Co-teacher with ClassLink

Now that you understand the capabilities of our co-teaching feature, let’s take a look at how we can add co-teachers to ClassLink-synced classes!

❗ Be sure to roster your classes through ClassLink before adding a co-teacher. For step-by-step instructions, check out this article to learn how to add your classes from ClassLink!

To add a co-teacher to a ClassLink-synced class, you can follow these steps:

1. Starting in ClassLink, add your co-teacher to the class you're sharing. You or your school's ClassLink admin can do this.
2. Head over to NoRedInk and select your "Manage Classes" page.
3. Select the class you're adding a co-teacher to.

You'll see co-teachers listed as either Active or Pending under that class.

For a co-teacher to become active, they need two things: an active NoRedInk account, and that account must be linked to ClassLink.

4. Have your co-teacher log into NoRedInk through ClassLink.
5. Logging in will connect the two accounts, and they'll be automatically added as a co-teacher in NoRedInk for that class.

Once the co-teacher has been added, they’ll be able to view the shared classes on their Dashboard.
