There will be a risk of students and courses being duplicated. NoRedInk presently does not support the merging of students or classes created via the Google Classroom integration. Please find the scenarios below that outline what will take place if you have been using Google Classroom since the start of the school year.
Manually Created Class:
Upon enabling the Google Classroom integration, new classes will be created. In order to avoid duplicates, we recommend that teachers archive their manually created classes. Additional information about archiving classes can be found here.
Existing Classes Created via Another Integration:
Canvas or Schoology Created Courses:
If an existing class in NoRedInk was created via the Canvas or Schoology integration, the teacher will need to remove the link to the existing integration first which will archive the existing classes. New classes will be created via the newly enabled Google Classroom integration.
Clever Created Courses:
If the existing class in NoRedInk was created via the Clever integration, the teacher will need to manually archive the classes and begin using the newly created classes through the Google Classroom integration.
