Overview
If you're looking for an easy way to get students added to your NoRedInk class, this is the resource for you! In this article, you will:
- Learn how to use invite links to invite new students to your NoRedInk class.
- Find a downloadable invitation letter to help you share login instructions with your students and their families at home-- a great option for distance learning!
- A video tour of NoRedInk for students is also included in the letter.
If your NoRedInk course is synced with Clever rostering, you will not have an invite link or class code. Read this article to learn how to get students added to Clever-synced classes.
Instructions for using class invite links
💡In order to use invite links, you’ll need to already have classes created in your account. You can add new classes from your "Manage Classes" page.
There are multiple ways you can add students in NoRedInk, but the easiest way especially when you're not in the classroom with them is to share a class invite link.
An invite link is a URL that is pre-populated with your class code for quick student access. When students sign into or sign up for NoRedInk via your class invite link, their account will be automatically associated with your class (so there's no need for students to add the class code again).
The link will look something like: https://www.noredink.com/join/class-code-5

Invite letter for students
To help you share instructions with your students and their families, we’ve created a sample invitation letter. Feel free to make the changes you need and don’t forget to paste in your own invite link! The sample letter below includes:
- A video tour to introduce students to NoRedInk
- Instructions for how students can join your class using the invite link you'll provide
- A placeholder for you to add additional instructions or other resources to help students get working on their first NoRedInk assignment(s)
Share your letter however you like! Email, tweet, or post it on your class webpage. Just make sure each of your classes have access to their correct NoRedInk invite link.
💡Click here for a downloadable pdf version of the letter below. For each class, replace the example invite link with your own. Be sure to download the PDF and save your changes before sharing with students!
