Now that you understand the capabilities of our co-teaching feature, let's look at adding co-teachers to Schoology-synced classes!
❗ In order to add your co-teacher, you must roster your classes into NoRedInk through Schoology first. For step-by-step instructions, check out this article to learn how to add your classes from Schoology!
The primary teacher of the class will be whoever made the first assignment that is used to roster the students. To add a co-teacher to a Schoology-rostered class, you can follow these steps:
- Starting in Schoology, you or your school’s admin will need to add your co-teacher to the class you're sharing.
- After your classes are rostered into NoRedInk, have your co-teacher open the same assignment you created in Schoology.
- After they've either signed up with or logged into NoRedInk through this assignment, their accounts will be connected and they'll be automatically added as a co-teacher.
When you head over to your "Manage Classes" page and view the class the co-teacher was added to, you'll see them listed as Active under that class.
Once the co-teacher has been added, they’ll be able to view the shared classes on their Dashboard.
💡 Unable to add your co-teacher through the integration? You can still manually add your co-teacher to your classes! You can learn how to manually add co-teachers here.
