When you create practice, you'll select a set of skills that you'd like students to master, rather than a number of questions. Mastering a topic may require more or fewer questions depending on students' proficiency levels.
Other important notes about mastering a skill:
- Our practice engine is adaptive. This means that a struggling student, for example, will be directed toward simpler questions and gradually built up toward more complex questions. A student who understands a concept quickly, in contrast, will be directly more immediately toward difficult questions. The first student may require 20 questions to prove mastery, whereas the second may only need 5 or 10.
- Mastering a single skill takes approximately 5-10 minutes. This varies based on the complexity of the skill and students' proficiency levels.
