Assigning practice to students gives them the opportunity to learn and work at their own pace.

For any topic assigned, students will work toward a mastery score of 100. Questions will adapt over time, getting harder as students answer questions correctly and easier when students make errors. Ultimately, there is no precise number of questions or amount of time it takes to master a single topic, but you can generally expect each to take about 5-10 minutes.

Also note that topics are organized in a scope and sequence. As students master topics, they will unlock subsequent, more complex ones.

We recommend using practice as an ongoing assignment that students can come back to each day. Alternatively, a practice composed of 2-3 topics may work well as a bell ringer or exit ticket.
