Set up Infinite Campus and NoRedInk (Teachers)

This article guides teachers through setting up their NoRedInk account to sync with Infinite Campus.

Requirements

The following are required to set up the Infinite Campus integration with NoRedInk:

1. Your school must have an active NoRedInk Premium subscription
2. Your school's IT department/Infinite Campus Admin must have completed the integration set up between NoRedInk and Infinite Campus

Link your NoRedInk Account with Infinite Campus

If you have not created a NoRedInk account, please follow the steps in our Sign up as an educator article. After creating your account, return to this article to connect your NoRedInk account with Infinite Campus.

1. Log into NoRedInk via noredink.com using your existing NoRedInk account
2. Select your name (top right corner) then select Account Settings then select Integrations
3. Locate the Infinite Campus option and select Link with Infinite Campus account
4. Enter your e-mail address
   • The e-mail address you use must match the e-mail address you have in NoRedInk. As an example [e-mail] is not the same as [e-mail]
5. If NoRedInk successfully matches your e-mail address, you will receive a message indicating that your Infinite Campus account is connected and NoRedInk will sync your classes from Infinite Campus
   • If we are unable to match your e-mail address you will receive a message indicating that we were unable to match your accounts and what to do next
6. You may be asked to verify your email address. We'll send a confirmation code to your email which you'll need to enter on the page to verify your email address

Sync Your Classes from Infinite Campus to NoRedInk

NoRedInk will automatically sync classes based on the information in Infinite Campus every 24 hours.  If you need to update your classes prior to the next sync you can manually force a sync from the Manage Classes page.  Please note that the classes in NoRedInk will only be as accurate as the classes are in Infinite Campus.

1. Log in to NoRedInk
2. Select Manage Classes and choose the class you want to manually sync
3. Select the Sync with Infinite Campus button

Turn off and unlink NoRedInk and Infinite Campus

You can turn off the integration between NoRedInk and Infinite Campus by unlinking your Infinite Campus account. 

Turning off the integration between NoRedInk and Infinite Campus will archive any classes that were created through the Infinite Campus integration. This does NOT delete the classes or any assignments but all classes and associated assignments will be archived.

1. Log into NoRedInk using your existing NoRedInk account
2. Select your name (top right corner) then select Account Settings then select Integrations
3. Locate the Infinite Campus integration from the list of integrations
4. Click Remove
5. A confirmation message will appear that will require you to confirm the removal of Infinite Campus from your NoRedInk account
6. A confirmation message will appear indicating that the integration with Infinite Campus has been removed
