The NoRedInk Premium Report is an administrator's go-to resource to track activation, usage, and standards alignment at the school or district level. Any user with administrator privileges can access the Premium Report at any time through Admin Tools.
Accessing your Premium Report
To find your Premium Report, you can follow these steps!
- Select Admin Tools at the top of your dashboard.
- Select Usage and Mastery from the menu on the left.
- Choose the report you would like to view, and select View full school report or View full district report.
Premium Report Data: Activation
Use the Activation tab to see how many teachers and students have activated their NoRedInk accounts. Teachers are activated when they log in to their accounts, and students are activated when they begin a NoRedInk assignment.
As a general guide, most schools and districts aim for at least 65% of teachers and students activated within the first three months of a new school year or implementation. If a teacher is missing from the list, or if a teacher has fewer students activated than expected, that teacher may need additional support getting started with NoRedInk.

The Activation tab also shows how many modules of NoRedInk's self-guided training each teacher has completed. Use this column to recognize teachers who show initiative in learning about NoRedInk, or to confirm that teams have completed any self-guided training you've suggested!
Color-coded symbols give a bird's-eye view of activation at each school.
Premium Report Data: Usage
The Usage tab offers insight on how teachers are using NoRedInk, including how many Practice topics, Quick Writes, and Guided Drafts teachers are assigning, and whether those numbers meet expectations for that point in the school year.
- The Practice & Assessment section shows the average number of topics mastered and questions answered so far this year. We recommend that students master one topic per week throughout the school year. You can track progress towards this goal by looking at the purple, orange, and green icons next to teacher names.
- The Writing & Revising section of the Usage tab shows the average number of writing assignments submitted per student. To support meaningful writing growth, we recommend that teachers assign 1-5 Quick Writes per week, and 1-2 Guided Essays per quarter.
You can also access Premium Reports from previous years by selecting the school year drop-down. This allows you to see year-over-year trends and understand how the implementation of NoRedInk is evolving at your school or district.
Premium Report Data: Skills
Check the Skills tab to verify that students are mastering the right content at the right time. Filter this tab by your state's standards, or national tests like the ACT, to see a color-coded view of the pathways teachers have assigned. For some states, the Skills tab is organized according to alignment with their state tests, and for others, you'll see grade-level bands.
Leadership teams can use this tab to monitor vertical alignment and illuminate any gaps in instruction.
