In this article, you will learn:
Administrators are designated representatives from a Premium school who can access Premium usage reports and Benchmark scores on an ongoing basis, as well as log in as any teacher. Administrators can include assistant principals and principals, instructional coaches, department chairs, district ELA coordinators, and any other staff who support literacy instruction.
As an administrator, you can:
- Access up-to-date Premium Reports
- View district-wide Benchmark scores
- View each teacher's last login
- Log in as each teacher and have full access to their account
- View Premium codes for each school
- Add your school or district branding
How do I access the admin tools?
Once you've logged in to your NoRedInk administrator account, you can access administrator privileges through the Admin Tools button at the top of your dashboard. From your Admin Tools page, you'll be able to create Benchmarks and access important usage and student progress data.
If you are unable to see Admin Tools at the top of your dashboard, please email your team's Customer Success or Premium Success Manager to have them activate admin privileges.
Skills Benchmarks and Writing Benchmarks
Benchmarks allow administrators to track student progress towards mastery of standards-aligned writing skills. Benchmarks also give teachers the data they need to meaningfully drive instruction throughout the academic year. If you administer a Benchmark, you'll see district-wide and school-by-school data on this panel.
For Writing Benchmarks, you can also view class-level aggregates. When the Writing Benchmark window ends, teachers are also emailed a report that shows them the same class-level aggregates.

Usage and Mastery
The Usage and Mastery tab will take you to your Premium Report, which includes information about:
- Teacher and student activation
- Topics mastered
- Writing assigned
- Alignment to state standards
- Student-level grade data

Teacher Accounts
As an administrator, you can view each teacher's last login, as well as log in as each teacher and have full access to their account. In the event of an extended teacher absence or staffing change, you could log into a teacher's account to assign work to their class(es) or to add a co-teacher who could take over their account.
Customization
Administrators can add a school or district logo to foster a sense of community among all teachers! Choose to add a logo for all schools, or individual logos for each campus.
Administrators can also customize the term "Benchmark" and set those terms to specific schools. This will adjust the term "Benchmark" everywhere the teachers view it.
