NoRedInk integrates with Google Classroom to provide the following features:
- Automatic class creation in NoRedInk
- Automatic student enrollment in appropriate classes
- Single sign-on (SSO) functionality for students through Google
- Share assignment links directly to your Google Classroom classes
- Automatic grade passback from NoRedInk to your Google Classroom gradebook

NoRedInk Premium Is Not Required
To begin integrating NoRedInk with Google Classroom, an active Premium license is not required. That being said, grade book syncing is only available to Premium schools. You can learn more about Premium here!
Sign up or log in to NoRedInk
It's recommended that teachers and students sign up and log in to NoRedInk directly through Google Classroom. This is to ensure that users are connecting the correct accounts and help avoid rostering issues. That being said, users can also sign up or log in through NoRedInk and connect their accounts through their Account Settings.
Roster Creation
Roster creation can begin when the teacher manually syncs Google Classroom with NoRedInk. Once the teacher begins rostering, students can sign up or log into NoRedInk through Google Classroom to automatically join their teacher's class!
Roster Management
Roster updates occur when the teacher manually refreshes their NoRedInk and Google Classroom sync on their Manage Classes page.
Gradebook Sync
The ability to sync grades from NoRedInk to Google Classroom is currently only available for Premium schools or districts. That being said, both free and Premium teachers can share their assignments directly with students through Google Classroom.
Demographic Data Syncing
Demographic data syncing is not shared when integrating with Google Classroom.
Student Grade Level Syncing
Class and student grade levels are not shared between Google Classroom and NoRedInk. Teachers will need to manually add their grade levels to their classes on their Manage Classes page.
Co-Teacher Support
Google Classroom co-teachers are automatically added to the specific class they assist with once they connect and begin syncing Google Classroom with NoRedInk.
