Jeremy Crouthamel July 12, 2017 20:49 Updated Isolated Practice provides students with mastery-based practice for key components of argumentative writing, such as thesis statements, topic sentences, and claim-evidence-reasoning. To assign Isolated Practice on NoRedInk Writing: Click “Assignments” at the top of your Home page. Click “Create a New Assignment.” Click the class you plan to assign the work to. Toggle to the “NoRedInk Writing” tab. 5. Select the “Isolated Practice” button. 6. Click "Select Content" and choose the content you’d like your students to practice. Don’t forget to use the drop down arrows to view all available content. 7. Click “Done Selecting” and finish creating your assignment. Note: After students complete Isolated Practice, if they’re reassigned a topic that they’ve already mastered, they will receive a refresher quiz.
